Fresh Breath Treats

Last week, Brock invited his puppy friend, Jules, a foster from The Tiny Pitbull, over for a playdate. After lots of running and rough housing, the kids began to tire. We decided to take an alternative approach to our playdate and headed into the Bitchin' Kitchen to make some oven-baked Fresh Breath Treats! It was super easy and super fun. Four out of four dogs agree (and two humans! Hey, they're made of meat-free people ingredients) these treats are yummy!

Fresh Breath Treats
Ingredients
1 Banana
1 Carrot
1 Cup Finely Chopped Parsley
1 Egg
3 Cups Oats
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325F
Use a blender to blend or food processor to grind the oats into a fine, flour like powder
Grate the carrot with a cheese grater
Mash the banana in a bowl
Add the egg, and melted coconut oil to the mashed banana
In a separate bowl, mix the carrot, parsley and oats
Pour the banana, coconut oil and egg mixture in with the dry ingredients
Mix until you get a dough consistency. We used our own paws instead of a spoon or mixer
Roll the dough into small balls and place evenly spaced on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 30 minutes, let cool and let the pups enjoy!
You'll thank yourself later during makeout time.
